I’ve made a concious effort not to talk about the last year.  I’m not saying that it was all bad.  I won’t ever say that the entire exerience was totally useless.  I just want to sort of forget about it.  Or rather, just kind of let the memories fade away like having too many beers.

Here’s the problem with this sort of decision.   I have NOTHING to talk about.

Think of everything you’ve done in the past year… people you’ve seen and things you’ve done.  Ok, now don’t talk about any of it.  What’s left?  Not much, honestly.  And until I start making new memories and have new experiences, I’m going to be the worst conversationalist in the world.  I’m appologizing ahead of time.

Why am I doing this you ask?  Well, for starters it bores me.  And trust me when I say it would bore you too.  Secondly, I need to MOVE ON!  My head can’t be swimming in the goop that is Iraqi memories for long.  Otherwise I’m just gonna end up swimming in a bottle of  Jack Daniels somewhere on the side of the road.  Thirdly, if someone wants the meat-n-potatoes of the last year, then just read my frickin’ blog.

In other news, I bought a new guitar.  It’s a ::: gasp ::: Gibson J-45 acoustic.  In the words of Davin..  swooon!  New tracks are soon to be popping up on my Myspace acount as soon as I can set up my recorder.  www.myspace.com/TheCombatBaby

Also, stay tuned for some awesome travel plans that are in the works.  This blog is gonna start to get interesting again!  :)
