Neato website: 11/21/06

I’m a little behind on this but the political cartoonist Garry Trudeau is posting military blogs from soldiers who are (or who had been) stationed over seas.  I first learned about this during my final week in Iraq when I was reading the “Stars and Stripes” newspaper and came across one of his “Doonesbury” cartoons.  Anyway, he advertised this new milblog site aptly named “The Sandbox”. 

His web master has since posted two of my previous blogs, “Tomato Plants” and “The Escort”, on this site.  There are some other really great writings from soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I encourage everyone to check out the site as each blog posted is different, amusing, and informative.  (They’re also quite short which is great for people with short attention spans like myself.)
