Yes, I remember this blog very clearly… it must feel good to me quoted as “Hopeful”… I mean, knowing that you had a moment ( or several ?? ) of hope, and that your glimpse of HOPE was memorialized in a public post, is a such a positive, uplifting, reminder to soldiers and civilians alike! Schweeet.

On the flip-side, I wonder if any of our LEADERS would be inspired enough by your tomato plant blog, to pull our troops out…I suppose only time will tell.
Just know that if this war EVER ENDS, you can take full responsibility for getting through to da prez. Case and point: I’m Italian, and everyone likes pizza, right? RIGHT! So we must assume that most people awoke from their comas, and became exponentially more anti-war after reading this in its original blog form. Apparently it didn’t hit close enough to home to see the HUMAN death toll, the huge financial deficit, and the whiney family members and friends of those who died at war. Yeah, that had little if any affect on me indeed.
But C’mon! If a tomato plant doesn’t appeal to the pathos of our Nation’s Leaders, than, well , I guess nothing WELL(oil), I mean, WILL…

That was obviously an extreme taste of my sarcasm meant to get a ‘ha ha’ if anything. But please know that what I say prior to the last paragragh, is sent with complete sincerety and genuinity. I WAS touched by the blog…and I DO BELIEVE that your awareness at that time was a gift. AND, might I add that I am GREATFUL that you shared it with such a wide audience rather than fluff it off as insignificant, because IT (life) IS a MIRACLE, and thus IS SIGNIFICANT.
Anyone care to argue??!!!
