OMG! OMG! OMG!
My beloved Bears are going to the Super Bowl.
For the rest of the world I know you just think of American football as a bunch of grown men running around in funny outfits. But this is like the equivalent of the World Cup for soccer… American style!
In two weeks they’ll be in Miami butting heads with either New England or Indianapolis. And ya know what I just realized?? That weekend I’ll be at my last military drill. If I have to show up to the Super Bowl party in my friggin’ uniform, then I will!
So, roll on Chicago Bears. You’re in our hearts and making life a bit more tolerable.
I’ll leave you with a little reminder of the last time they went all the way 21 years ago!
