Mr. Blue Sky, please tell us why…

I’ve survived the southside parade. I’m not in jail. I didn’t vomit. I didn’t reveal any of my naughty parts. It proved to be a fairly positive occasion. (Positive in the sense that I didn’t do any of the above. I suppose I can’t really label a “drink-fest” as positive though.)

Luckily, yesterday was also the first day of the year that I didn’t have to wear a jacket outside (at least not in the afternoon.) Little vitamin D bullets were shooting into my skin from the sun. A day like that helps me understand why people worship(ed) sun gods.

In other news… Spring Break!! I’m spending my vacation getting caught up on all my yearly doctor visits; eye’s, teeth, and girly doc. It’s riveting, eh? I’m also going to finish working on all the songs I started (but couldn’t finish) while school was in session. I really hope I can post something new on my music site by the end of the week. It gives me some sense of accomplishment.

Lastly, I’ve started to subscribe to RSS news feeds. Now I can see all the top news headlines from CNN, Google, & Yahoo news sources with one click. Why haven’t I done this before? I think it’s because it would officially bump me into the super geek bracket. Now I have instant access to articles like,“Woman marries corpse” and “Man saves his drowning dog with CPR”. Fascinating.
