Israel photo montage: These last two weeks
[above] A short drive south from Tel Aviv was a festival in Bat Yam that featured a strange traveling act. They hooked half a dozen women to a huge crane and then rotated the crane in circles while the girls threw confetti and fireworks. Beautiful and strange all at once.
[above] Next to Jerusalem is the “Elvis American Diner”. Seriously. When I walked in, I really felt like I was back in the States with our kitchy restaurants….
[above] …that is, until they served pita and olives as the appetizer.
[above] Move over King David, Elvis is in town.
[above] Tel Aviv hosted a mini art festival for visual artists last week. This graffiti was seen on the way.
[above] My favorite duck, Dudu Geva’s creation miniaturized.
Bonus video from the art festival:
[above] An organized pillow fight in the middle of Rabin Square, Tel Aviv. Basic translation of what the guy is yelling in the end: “Everyone! We’ve had our fun! Now it’s time to clean up!”. Seriously. And they did clean up all the feathers off the ground.
