Why my new Hebrew dictionary rocks

   *tilts head to side* how do you find anything in un-alphabetical order? this is probably a dumb question since i assume that there is some order to the dictionary. anyway. oh, and why are there two different words for cousin (male)? i need more coffee.

   It’s alphabetized by the Hebrew words on the right side of the page. And there’s two words for male cousin depending on if you mean your Uncle’s child “Ben Dod” בן דוד or your Aunt’s child “Ben Dodah” בן דודה. The Hebrew word for male cousin is literally translated to “son of Uncle” or “Son of Aunt”. For girl cousins you just replace “Ben” with “Baht”.

   Coffee is a necessity when learning Hebrew.

   And to answer this question before anyone asks it….

   S.O.B. in Hebrew is “Ben Zonah”.

   i may stick with learning spanish. remember when you thought Thai was tricky?? nyooknyooknyook!

   Baht is also the currency in Thailand. but you probably already knew that. since i just mentioned you studied Thai at some point.
